What has changed with the M1/M2 Chipset?
The Adobe plugins for GoVisually is designed to work with technology called CEP, but with the launch of the Apple Silicon (M1/M2) Macs, Adobe has now switched to using UXP as their preferred technology.
How do I enable for Photoshop?
ā Option 1 - Open Photoshop apps in Rosetta mode
For more information on Rosetta, go to https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211861. To set Adobe Photoshop (or any Adobe app) to use Rosetta:
- Close the application
- Select the application in the Finder and choose File > Get Info
- In the Info window, check the "Open using Rosetta" checkbox
- Close the Info window
ā Option 2 - Launch App from Creative Cloud in Intel mode
Open Creative Cloud and then open Photoshop Intel mode. Click on the options and Open with Intel
Then use the GoVisually plugin as usual.
