Sections allow you to create a group of proofs.

Using sections

Creating sections allow you to organize your proofs. Sections ensure that your assets can be easily searched, categorized, reviewed, and grouped under the relevant project.

How do I create sections within my projects?

You can create a section in two ways.

The first one is to create a section the dropdown on the top right.

Click on ‘Add’ then selection 'Add section'. 


You can now give your section a name and description.

The second way to create a section is when you upload a new proof. You’ll see the option to categorize your new proof into an existing section or create a new one.

You can also create and assign a proof to a section when uploading a proof from GoVisually's Adobe Extension

How do I edit the details of a section?

Once you’ve created a section, you can set a name and description for it. You can also assign a color to the section from the brand color palette to make identification easier.


How can I move proofs across sections?

Click on the icon on the any proof and move to another section.


Pin a section

You can pin a section to the top of a project by clicking on the pin icon next to the section's name.

 

What are the different viewing options for sections?

You can view your sections in two ways; in either a grid view or a list view. 

Once you set a preferred view, it’ll becomes the default for all projects, until you select another view.

You can also collapse the contents of the sections only to see the names for easier search.

Can I delete a section?

Yes, you can. You can delete a section by selecting the delete option.

When you delete a section, the proofs will be moved to the Others section, which is a system-created folder.

Where do the unassigned proofs go?

All the unassigned proofs go to the Others section.
